Ever been speechless? I’ve found myself there quite a bit lately. Because of my wiring (personality, enneagram, gifts, love languages—all the things) I typically process what’s going on around me best by writing it out. But lately, I’ve started more thoughts than finished.
Today I am thankful that God finishes my sentences for me when I don’t know how to get them out. Ever had a friend like that? One who knows what you’re feeling and thinking before you say a word. God is that perfect friend. In a world where opinions are being slung faster than Waffle House hash browns, we can rest assured that God knows what our hearts are feeling when we cannot express our words. God knows our overwhelm, our pain, our concern, our heartache and our joy. He knows the language we speak when we cannot utter a word.
