There are many times I have been unfaithful to God. I’ve wandered, questioned and even been silent when I should have spoken up. Like a spoiled child I have pouted and kicked and screamed (mostly figuratively) when I didn’t get my way or what I thought was fair.

I have not arrived. But God continues to be faithful to me. Because he is perfectly faithful, he knows how to show up, speak up and lift me up. He is always there, faithfully giving me what I need. Although at the time, it might not be what I want, looking back I can see him right beside me each step of the way, faithfully doing what is best for me.
For that I am so very thankful.
